Course Description

Support Grammar Learning with Literature-Based Activities

Grammar is the structure of language that all students must master.  Literature-Based Learning:  Creative Grammar Strategies (1-5) offers Grades 1-5 teachers new ways to creatively enhance their teaching skills in what is usually a less appealing subject area to teach.  This course will focus on these five parts of speech:  nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs and prepositions by using specific children’s books.

Testimonials

The course structure was well designed and easy to follow. The development of each lesson plan was what I liked the most by using literature to help drive that part of speech.

It was a creative course, and I enjoyed it very much.
